A plan for the weekend full of creativity, gastronomy and more.

The weekend will be sunny and warm, which means it is a perfect moment to spend it with friends and family in one of the best open-air markets that Barcelona has to offer: the Palo Alto market. Usually, it takes place the first weekend of each month. It is one of the most popular markets in the city because everyone can find something to see and do. It offers a mix of food trucks, flea market, music and an amazing friendly atmosphere.

This edition is taking place on the weekend of 13-14 of January. You will hear music from such bands as Aurora, Gaspar X Big Menu, Jamaikids, Relatiiv, Fleajays and more. There will be a healthy food workshop for lovers of gastronomy and another of dance. Children can also participate in some activities such as the storytelling workshop organized by Casa Boheme. Go check the event yourself and tell us what you liked the most.

Palo Alto Market is truly a place full of creativity, originality and innovation. This often makes the place get crowded very quickly, so, you better get the tickets in advance. Online tickets cost €3 and €4 at the door. The admission is free for children under 12 years old and for people with reduced mobility or disability as well as for their companions. The capacity is limited to 950 people for security reasons, that’s why we advise to come early not to wait in line in case the place is full. Check the website for more information and program of the event.
