Somewhere in the heart of Barcelona there is a little street called Carrer de Petritxol, near Plaza del Pi, which is right off Las Ramblas.

In this street, you will find not believe what you find: The cakes garden! The moment you enter you will see more than 30 different kinds of cupcakes and you will smell so many delicious smells of chocolate, lemon, strawberry and fresh cake dough!

The Cake’s Garden is more than a garden, a paradise for the sweet tooth. The shop, opened in July 2011 by Mar and his mother, has already taken a privileged place among the sweetest offer in the Gothic Quarter.

The charming shop invites anyone to enter. It is a charming space with Victorian atmospheres, open on the street and decorated by the owners with very good taste.

The star of this flirtatious pastry is, without a doubt, the cupcake – so fashionable lately – that they themselves elaborate (always in an artisan way, like the rest of the products) with surprising designs and baptized with interesting names. The offer also includes other typically American products such as fudge.
The cupcakes are €3 per cake, which is kinda expensive, but once you entered the cakes garden of heaven, you can not go back anymore, and the most difficult thing is choosing which one(s) you want to take.

The cupcakes have funny names like Katy Perry, a fuchsia cupcake, or a Louis Armstrong with lots of candy colors. And besides cupcakes, you can also buy delicious pies and pots with all kinds of jam. The store is always filled with many tourists and locals, so be there soon before your taste is sold out.
